The National Board of Forensic Medicine is the expert authority that provides the judicial system with the basis for important decisions – from forensic medicine and forensic analyses to forensic psychiatric investigations. Whether you work in core operations or in a supportive role, you are part of something bigger: contributing to a legally secure society.
We are now looking for an experienced labor law attorney/specialist with in-depth knowledge of labor law to the HR unit, located at our headquarters in central Stockholm. The HR unit consists of an HR manager, a payroll specialist, and eight HR specialists who work closely with operations and together drive the development work within the HR area. We support over fifty managers in an organization with approximately 700 employees. We are now strengthening the unit with a labor law attorney/specialist.

Your mission includes working both supportively and governatively within the labor law area. You interpret and apply legislation, regulations, central and local collective agreements, and provide qualified advice and support in labor law matters.
In the role of attorney/specialist in labor law, you work together with other colleagues in HR to coordinate practices and ensure uniform and legally secure processes in a complex organization. In addition to your specialist area in labor law, you also contribute broadly within the HR area, partly through operational support to managers in both operational and strategic HR matters.
Furthermore, the mission includes working with leadership development, conducting training initiatives, and contributing to learning in the organization, as well as monitoring developments in the labor law area. You also participate in the development of governance and support documents, handle personnel matters, labor law negotiations, and cases for the personnel responsibility committee.
Qualifications
- academic education with a focus on law, HR, or other education that, together with work experience, is deemed equivalent by the employer
- several years of current experience in labor law advice and interpretation and application of collective agreements
- experience in handling complex individual cases
- experience in conducting training, workshops, and development initiatives for managers
- very good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form
Meritorious
- experience working with state collective agreements and state special regulations
Personal Qualities and Abilities
We are looking for someone who has a holistic view and the ability to analyze and handle complex cases, as well as make well-founded assessments with good judgment and high integrity. The role involves many contact points, which requires good collaboration skills, a responsive and pedagogical approach, and good communication skills. You express yourself well in speech and writing and produce high-quality documents. We place great importance on your personal qualities.
Employment
The employment is a permanent full-time position that begins with a six-month probationary period. Start date is according to agreement, placement in Stockholm. The authority's units are located in various locations in Sweden, which means that travel in the service occurs.
